A Transport Manager ensures that the public transport and haulage reach the destination safely, on time, and in the most cost-effective manner. Typical work activities carried out on daily basis are listed on the Transport Manager Resume as – booking all transportation activities, developing transporting relationships, monitoring transport costs, negotiating and bargaining transportation prices, dealing with the effects of congestion, confronting climate change issues, implementing strategies and monitoring the company’s carbon footprint.
