A Water Technician takes responsibility for ensuring that the drinking water is free from pollutants and contaminants that cause illness. Even though the job titles may vary, the executed tasks are common and are listed on the Water Technician Resume as follows – collecting water samples and sending it for research or testing purposes; collecting samples from lakes, pools, wells, and sewers; performing simple laboratory tests; maintaining meticulous records of the collection area, methods and results; calibrating and maintaining equipment; and using sterile techniques to avoid contamination.
